UFC career

Diakiese entered the UFC unbeaten and kept rolling early, decisioning Frankie Perez in 2016 to push his pro mark to a perfect 12–0. The level then caught up to him in a rough stretch: he dropped a split decision to Drakkar Klose in 2017, was submitted by future contender Dan Hooker via guillotine later that year, and lost a decision to Nasrat Haqparast in 2018. He steadied himself with two of the best wins of his career, back-to-back decisions over former Cage Warriors champion Joe Duffy and the dangerous Lando Vannata in 2019. The seesaw continued into the 2020s: a decision loss to Rafael Fiziev and a quick guillotine loss to Rafael Alves bracketed a 2022 rebound, when he decisioned Viacheslav Borshchev and Damir Hadžović. He then dropped decisions to veteran Michael Johnson and a submission to Joel Alvarez, before closing his Octagon run with a split-decision win over Kauê Fernandes in late 2023.

Life after the UFC

Diakiese carried his career into new promotions. He decisioned Tim Wilde in the Bellator Champions Series in September 2024, then moved into the PFL, where he was stopped by punches in the first round by Gadzhi Rabadanov in the 2025 World Tournament. Along the way he also tested himself in grappling, dropping a five-round submission-grappling decision to Benoit Saint-Denis at ADXC 4.

Fighting style

Early in his career Diakiese was a highlight-reel finisher, blending freakish athleticism with concussive power – six of his wins have come by knockout. As he faced sterner competition, his game evolved into a more measured, decision-heavy approach: 11 of his 18 victories now come on the scorecards, and his overall finish rate sits around 39%. His wrestling and physicality let him grind out rounds, but his record also exposes a recurring vulnerability on the mat, with three of his eight losses coming by submission. At his best, Bonecrusher is a powerful, athletic pressure fighter who can flatten opponents early or out-work them over three rounds.
