The Ultimate Fighter and UFC arrival

Santos earned his UFC contract the hard way, as a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter season 32. He won his way through the featherweight bracket and, in the August 2024 finale, faced Australia's Kaan Ofli. Santos closed the show emphatically, landing a left hand that dropped Ofli for a second-round knockout to be crowned the TUF 32 featherweight winner. The finish announced him as a genuine prospect rather than a developmental project, and it kicked off a run inside the division's official ranks.

Climbing the featherweight ladder

From there, Santos showed he could win in more than one way. In March 2025 he edged American Francis Marshall by split decision on the UFC 313 card, then turned in arguably his most complete performance two months later, outpointing the experienced Sodiq Yusuff by unanimous decision in May 2025. He capped a strong stretch in December 2025 at UFC 323, stopping Muhammad Naimov with third-round punches — a finish that pushed his winning streak forward and underlined his arrival as a featherweight to watch.

Fighting style

Santos is a striker first, and the numbers reflect it: nine of his 17 wins have come by knockout or TKO, with the balance largely on the scorecards.
